These terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter the “T&C”) govern the booking of excursions and tourist activities offered under the Authentique Excursion brand on the website authentique-excursion.com by the company CARIBBEAN TRIP (SARL), whose registered office is located at 14 Route de Fonds Vapeur, 97180 Sainte-Anne (Guadeloupe). The excursions are carried out by selected partner providers, with Authentique Excursion acting as an intermediary for their booking. Any booking implies the client’s full and complete acceptance of these T&C.

Article 1 — Purpose and acceptance
These T&C define the terms of booking, payment, and cancellation of the excursions offered on the Site. Making a booking constitutes unconditional acceptance of these T&C.
Article 2 — Booking
Booking is done online on the Site, or by contacting the team by phone, email, or WhatsApp, or at one of the stands in Guadeloupe. It proceeds as follows:
- the client chooses their excursion, the desired date, and the number of participants;
- a card authorization is carried out to validate the request: no amount is charged at this stage;
- the team checks availability with the provider: if the excursion can be maintained on the desired date, the booking is confirmed and payment is processed; otherwise, no amount is charged.
The client receives a first email confirming that their request has been received, then, after availability has been validated, a second email summarizing their booking, the meeting place and time, as well as the contact details of the welcome team.
Article 3 — Price and payment
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, per participant (separate rates may apply to adults and children). The total amount of the excursion is paid once the booking is confirmed. Payment is made by credit card, securely via our online payment partner and, depending on the activity, by bank transfer or in cash on site. Credit card details are neither collected nor stored by the publisher.
Article 4 — Confirmation and meeting
The booking summary sent by email must be shown to the provider on the day of the excursion. Due to sea or weather conditions, departure times may be slightly shifted; the client should remain reachable the day before and on the morning of their excursion.
Article 5 — Modification
Any modification request (date, activity, or number of participants) is sent to the team by email (infoexcursionguadeloupe@gmail.com) or WhatsApp (+590 690 16 05 39). It is reviewed according to the provider’s availability and these T&C.
Article 6 — Cancellation
Cancellation by the client
The client may cancel their booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the excursion (local time); the amount paid is then fully refunded. In the event of cancellation less than 24 hours before the start of the excursion, no refund is made.
Cancellation by the provider
When the provider cancels the excursion (technical failure, heavy swell, unfavorable weather, etc.), Authentique Excursion offers the client to postpone it to another date or to replace it with another activity, with their agreement; failing that, the full amount paid is refunded. The provider is the sole decision-maker for cancellations due to weather or safety reasons.
Article 7 — Conduct and safety
The excursion is carried out under the responsibility of the provider, who may adapt, delay, or cancel it for safety reasons. The client agrees to follow the safety instructions given to them and to ensure that they have no contraindication to practicing the chosen activity.
Article 8 — Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure activity services provided on a specific date or with a specific frequency. The booking is therefore firm as soon as it is confirmed, subject to the cancellation conditions set out in Article 6.
Article 9 — Liability
Authentique Excursion acts as an intermediary between the client and the providers who carry out the excursions. It cannot be held liable in the event of non-performance attributable to the client, a third party, or an event of force majeure, in particular weather conditions.
Article 10 — Personal data
The client’s personal data is processed in accordance with the Site’s privacy policy, available at authentique-excursion.com. In particular, the client has rights of access, rectification, and erasure, which they may exercise at infoexcursionguadeloupe@gmail.com.
Article 11 — Complaints and mediation
Any complaint may be sent to infoexcursionguadeloupe@gmail.com. In accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer client may, after a written complaint has gone unanswered, use a consumer mediator free of charge, and use the European online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Article 12 — Applicable law and disputes
These T&C are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts.
